Thompson Logging Inc

About Thompson Logging Inc

Thompson Logging Inc is a logging company and sawmill based in Randolph, Utah. It works in logging, lumber, and by-product services, taking a job "from forest to finished product." The company is family-owned, founded by Olen and Dixie Thompson, and it says it has served the logging industry for over 65 years. Sheldon Thompson and family now run it, carrying on the methods his father started. The business lists Rich County as an area it serves, with its yard and mailing address in Randolph. It describes itself as committed to sustainable forestry and responsible logging, and says it holds to "the highest safety standards." Beyond logging and lumber, it also does by-product work, so landowners with timber to clear can ask about more than just the logs themselves. This is a smaller, family-run outfit with decades behind it, better suited to a landowner in or near Rich County who wants to deal with the same family that has run the mill and the logging crew for a long time, rather than a larger firm working across many states.
