About NeighborWood Boys, LLC

NeighborWood Boys, LLC, based in Jericho, Vermont, runs a mobile sawmill. Instead of hauling your logs off the property, they bring the mill to you and cut your own trees into boards, beams, or slabs right where they stand. They work in pine, maple, cedar, hemlock, ash, cherry, walnut, and spruce, and say they'll mill "everything from pine trees to pear trees." Besides custom sawmilling they do tractor work and tree removal, log transportation, and an Alaskan chainsaw mill for bigger or oversized logs. They also offer kiln drying through a local partner, so green lumber can be properly dried afterward. The process is simple: you get in touch and get a quote, you stage your logs, they show up on milling day with the sawmill, and you're left with usable lumber plus the sawdust and offcuts for firewood or compost. They're built around using "wood from your own land," which fits someone clearing a few trees or working through a small lot rather than running a commercial harvest. They're based in Jericho and list Chittenden County as served, with work also reaching into New Hampshire and New York. This fits a landowner who has logs already down, or a handful of trees to take out, and wants them turned into their own lumber on-site rather than sold off as timber.
