About Mountain Lumber Co LLC
Mountain Lumber Co LLC is a flooring and millwork business in Waynesboro, Virginia. It has been in business since 1974, when it began reclaiming wood from old barns and other buildings. Today it mills reclaimed and newly sawn wood into custom floors, paneling, wall cladding and millwork, and it serves clients nationwide. Visits are by appointment only. The species it names are oak, heart pine, hickory, walnut, maple, American Chestnut, Longleaf Heart Pine and elm. Each floor is built to order. You choose solid or engineered construction, the wood, the color, the texture from smooth to saw-marked, and the finish. The line it leads with is "Where Every Floor Has a Story to Tell." Buyers can ask for a full refund on all or part of an order before installation, or up to thirty days after the material arrives, if they are not completely satisfied. Solid wood floors carry a limited lifetime structural warranty, engineered floors carry a 20-year structural warranty, and pre-finished products carry a 15-year finish warranty. It does not offer timber sales, timber cruising, harvesting or logging. This suits a builder, designer or homeowner who wants a custom floor, paneling or millwork, not a landowner who wants to sell standing timber or have logs cut.
