Northwest Logging Company, LLC

About Northwest Logging Company, LLC

Northwest Logging Company, LLC is a logging and timber buying business based in Tacoma, Washington, working in Pierce County. They handle traditional logging (full removal, or "clear-cutting"), commercial thinning, salvage logging after fire or storm damage, view clearing, land acquisition, and timber purchases where they buy the standing timber deed while you keep the land. They also do valuation, appraisal, and timber cruises, plus permitting, harvest layout, timber harvest management, and reforestation. Their process starts with a valuation expert coming out to inspect your timber and give you a bid. Once you agree on price, they handle permitting and planning, which can include road building, then their fallers and machinery harvest and prepare logs for the mills. Afterward they can help with debris cleanup, stump removal, land clearing, and replanting. For timber purchase deals, they say payment comes "prior to the commencement of harvest operations." They describe themselves as "a family owned and operated company" with over 35 years in the logging industry, and they work across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. There's no stated minimum acreage for timber sales. The smallest property they currently show for sale is a 2.0 acre woodland parcel in Woodland, though that's a property listing rather than a stated policy on job size. This fits a landowner who wants one company to handle the whole process, from timber valuation through harvest and cleanup, and who is comparing options across the Western states rather than just locally.
