Will Logging & Construction LLC

About Will Logging & Construction LLC

Will Logging & Construction LLC is a logging and timber buying outfit out of Tonasket, Washington. They've been at it since 2019, and the owners behind it say they've worked in the trade for over 20 years before taking the company on fully. They're family-owned and local. The work covers timber harvesting, log hauling, timber valuation and appraisals, management plans, timber stand improvement, forest road construction, land clearing and excavation, custom cutting, lowboy hauling, and forest fire prevention. They do their own log hauling rather than bringing in an outside hauler, calling themselves a "one-stop-shop" for harvesting and hauling. They describe their harvesting as "fully mechanical," aiming for fewer people on the ground during a cut. They'll also build or improve forest roads and driveways, and help with site prep for home building. They say they take you through the whole process, from permits to making a property eligible for harvest, including figuring out whether you need new roads before any cutting starts. They want at least 20 acres of forested land before they'll take on a timber sale, by their own stated minimum. Their listed service area is Okanogan County, and they say they work within a 100-mile radius of Tonasket, naming towns like Omak, Wenatchee, Okanogan, Chelan, Colville, and Twisp among others. They're Certified Master Loggers through the Washington Contract Loggers Association and hold a contractor's license. This one suits a landowner with a larger forested parcel in north-central Washington who wants one company to handle the cutting, the hauling, and the road work all at once, rather than coordinating several separate contractors.
