About Heirloom Timbers Custom Sawmilling and Woodworking
Heirloom Timbers Custom Sawmilling and Woodworking is a sawmill and woodworking shop in Inwood, in Berkeley County, West Virginia. It cuts logs into lumber for the landowner, and it also builds furniture from wood. Its line is "Turn your logs into treasures." The shop offers custom sawmilling, live edge tables and custom furniture. The live edge work is listed as side tables, hall tables and coffee tables. The species named on its pages are Eastern Red Cedar and Walnut, with book-matched walnut shown as one of its pieces. It also says "Keep those logs out of the chipper and the fireplace and create an heirloom," which speaks to a tree that has come down and might otherwise end up as firewood or chips. It suits a landowner who has red cedar or walnut logs on the place and wants them sawn into lumber or made into a table or piece of furniture, rather than hauled off as firewood or chips.
