Double E Sawmill is a family owned sawmill in Salem, West Virginia, in the hills of north central part of the state. They cut rough lumber from your logs or from logs they've purchased locally, and they serve Harrison County. This isn't a timber buying or logging outfit. It's a mill: custom sawing on three Woodmizer sawmills that can cut up to 54 inches wide and 42 feet long, plus on-site kiln drying, surfacing and planing, slab flattening, and reclaiming antique lumber. They work in "WV locally harvested lumber products" and cut a variety of siding, including lap siding, board and batten strip, live edge, and shake shingles. They've been at this over 40 years. No acreage minimum is mentioned, since the work here is sawing logs, not buying standing timber off a tract.
