Mustard Seed Wood Transformations

About Mustard Seed Wood Transformations

Mustard Seed Wood Transformations is a portable sawmill based in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. Instead of you hauling logs to a mill, they bring the mill to you: "We bring the sawmill to you. Instead of hauling heavy logs to a mill, we cut your wood right on your property." That matters if you've got a few big logs and don't want the hassle or expense of trucking them anywhere. The work covers portable sawmill rental, live edge wood slabs, custom cut lumber, and chainsaw work to buck logs to length. They're comfortable with salvage and storm-damaged logs, and say metal risk isn't a problem for them, which is worth knowing if your trees came down in a storm or grew up in a yard with old fence wire in them. A job starts with a quote, then the mill comes to your property and cuts while you watch or walk away, and you leave with lumber ready to air dry. They're a member of the Urban Wood Network. The business has been running since 2022. Service area reaches Wisconsin and Minnesota, with Barron County named among the counties served. There's no stated minimum acreage. The smallest job mentioned isn't a specific acreage, but the kind of work they describe, milling logs from salvage, storm-damaged, or yard trees right where they stand, suggests this fits a landowner with just a tree or two down rather than a whole stand of standing timber to sell. This suits someone with logs already on the ground, from a storm, a yard tree, or a small clearing job, who wants them turned into usable lumber rather than sold as standing timber.
