A&F Enterprises Logging & Excavating

About A&F Enterprises Logging & Excavating

A&F Enterprises Logging & Excavating is a logging and excavating outfit based in Cedar Ridge, California, founded in 1992 in Grass Valley. It's family-owned and has been doing this work for over 30 years. The work covers more than just logging: land clearing, lot clearing, site preparation, tree removal, logging services, trenching, compaction, masticating, road construction, and tree buying. It also handles fire safety and vegetation management work, including defensible space and wildfire prep, and it names forest service and forest management among what it offers. It's licensed for both logging and excavating, bonded, and insured, and it's contracted with the US Forest Service and CalFire. It belongs to the Nevada County Contractors' Association and Associated California Loggers. It's named as serving Placer County, with areas named including Nevada County, Grass Valley, and Northern California more broadly. No tree species are named, and there's no detailed walk-through of how a timber sale runs here, so a landowner would want to ask directly about that. In its own words, the work is meant to help landowners "protect and enhance their property," and the aim is "honest, high-quality work." This one suits a landowner whose land needs more than just timber cut, someone also thinking about fire safety, clearing, or site work alongside the trees, rather than a straightforward stumpage sale.
