Golden West Pine Mills, LLC

About Golden West Pine Mills, LLC

Golden West Pine Mills, LLC is a sawmill in Ault, Colorado. They produce rough sawn lumber, timbers and millwork, working with ponderosa pine and Douglas fir. They harvest their own timber and run it through their own remanufacturing facility, turning rough lumber into boards, beams, paneling, flooring, mouldings and doors. Their service list covers surfacing, sanding, ripping, moulding and resawing, each with its own minimum charge and per-foot pricing. Beyond the fixed mill in Ault, they also run a portable mill that works throughout Colorado, so they can come to timber rather than only working from the yard. They serve Weld County. They are a member of the Colorado Forest Products program and say "we guarantee that 100% of our wood products are harvested from Colorado forests." There is no stated minimum acreage for landowners bringing in timber. This outfit is built for the milling and finishing side of wood, not for walking a landowner through a standing timber sale. If what you want is someone to cut your logs into lumber or custom millwork, using wood that stayed in Colorado the whole way through, this is the kind of business to call.
