About VM West LP
VM West LP is a family-owned business founded in Delta, Colorado, and based at 650 N Main Street in Delta. It does vegetation management, forest restoration and private lands stewardship. Its work covers utility corridors, forest management, rangeland management and forest products, which include saw logs and firewood. The crews work from helicopter logging to whole-tree and cut-to-length logging, with self-loaders, mule trains and trailers of different lengths. It works on "steep slopes of up to 65 degrees" with T-Winch equipment. After treatment, it provides a report with before-and-after photos. The smallest job they have done covered 102 acres. That figure comes from the job itself, not from a minimum they set. Their process starts with pre-planning communication with everyone involved. The phone number is (970)852-2520. It suits a landowner with a larger tract in Delta who needs fuels reduction, forest work or line clearing on steep ground, and who wants saw logs or firewood handled as part of the job.
