About Bushnell Sawmill Inc.
Bushnell Sawmill Inc. is a custom sawmill located near Bushnell, between Ocala and Tampa, three and a half miles west of Interstate 75 at exit 314 on County Road 48. For more than twenty years, by its own account, the mill has provided custom cut and custom milled cypress, pine and local hardwoods to customers across Florida and the United States, and it describes itself as one of the most versatile sawmills in Florida. Its published product list runs to dimensional lumber, timbers, flooring in heart pine, cypress, rustic oak and wide plank, paneling, molding, trailer decking, industrial blocking, boat trailer bunks, siding and fencing. Industrial customers, the mill says, count on it for trailer decking, boat trailer timbers, oak blocking and dunnage, and it states that its wood has gone into projects ranging from small do it yourself cabins to multi million dollar houses and major motion pictures. The invitation on the site is to call for something special rather than for commodity grade framing lumber. No minimum order, price list or timber buying program is published. As described on bushnellsawmill.com, read 22 September 2026.
