The Mulch and Soil Company - DeLand
About The Mulch and Soil Company - DeLand
What The Mulch & Soil Company publishes about its DeLand plant is, precisely, nothing: the site names no locations at all, and the single address and phone on its pages are the Fort Myers head office. The Volusia County yard has to be read through the parent instead. The brands are older than the company - Jungle Growth dates to 1976 and the melaleuca-based FloriMulch to 1983, when Forestry Resources found a use for the invasive Australian tree it was clearing out of Florida wetlands - while the company carrying them was only created in June 2017, by a Blue Wolf Capital merger of Suwannee River Mulch and Forestry Resources. K & B Landscape Supplies was bought in June 2018; CenterGate Capital took ownership in May 2021. Four Florida plants, a private trucking fleet, lawn and garden mulch and soil. For anyone with trees to sell, note that the company describes no timber buying of any kind - its stated feedstock is cleared melaleuca and trees recycled off project sites.
