Logs 2 Lumber is a sawmill in DeLand, Florida. They mill wood to the size you need and sell the lumber, sawdust and scrap that comes out of it. They list Lake as the county they serve. For a landowner, the main work is custom milling. In their words, "You bring your logs to us to be milled." Custom milling is 55 cents a board foot, or 65 cents for oak or hickory, or $75 an hour for custom cut logs. They no longer offer portable milling at your location. They also say they do not cut trees down, so you would need a logger for that, though they will recommend professionals who do. They mill pine, cherry, cedar, magnolia, camphor, cypress, oak, sycamore, hickory and sweet gum. They also sell pressure treated and live edge boards. Non pressure treated pine is $1.15 a board foot, pressure treated is $1.55, oak is $3, and most other specialty woods are $5 a board foot. They note that prices are subject to change. This is not a storefront. Call, text or email before you come. Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 to 4, with a lunch break from 12 to 1, and Saturday by appointment. Their page says "No Job too Big or too Small." This suits a landowner who already has logs on hand and wants them milled to specific dimensions, not someone to fell and haul timber off the land.
