About Wood Mulch Products, Inc.
Wood Mulch Products, Inc. is a mulch and animal bedding maker in Lakeland, Florida. It was founded in 1991 to manufacture and distribute animal litter and soil amendment materials. It runs an 18 acre manufacturing facility in Lakeland, between Orlando and Tampa, and produces more than 20 different products. Its shavings are made from "100% virgin pine logs." The logs are debarked, dried and screened at the shaving mills, then tested and bagged. The business does not accept by-products from wood processing facilities. Its line includes premium mulch, playground mulch, organic mulch, pine bark and horse bedding. The horse bedding is kiln dried, triple screened and 100% pine. Products ship throughout the state of Florida, and the business supplies theme parks, public schools, parks, municipalities and landscape contractors. Its work is making mulch and bedding, not buying standing timber, logging or forestry, so it suits a landowner who wants a manufacturer for mulch or bedding rather than a timber sale.
