About Niceville Slabs and Cookies
Niceville Slabs and Cookies is a sawmill and wood shop in Niceville, Florida, in Okaloosa County. It mills wood into live edge slabs, dimensional lumber, cookies and turning stock. It also kiln dries green wood into finished lumber. The business puts its sawmill work this way: "You specify it, and we’ll mill it." The shop does custom woodworking for furniture, home renovation and custom design. It also offers shop services for people who need cuts or other work done on their own projects, using a workshop with a range of machines. The address is 207B Kelly Rd, Niceville, FL 32578, and the phone number is 850-897-0038. The business handles domestic and imported wood, and it says it carries over 50 species of domestic and exotic hardwoods. If it does not have the wood you need, it says it will try its hardest to find it. For drying, the kiln takes slabs, dimensional lumber and cookies, and the business describes it as "Wood goes in, and lumber comes out." It suits a landowner who has a tree they want turned into slabs or lumber, who wants that wood dried, and who may want it built into a furniture or renovation project.
