Dodd Saw Mills Inc
About Dodd Saw Mills Inc
Dodd Saw Mills Inc. is a sawmill and pallet manufacturer in Sullivan, Indiana, at 85E CR 450N. It began making wooden pallets and skids in the early 1950's and has kept at that trade since. The work here is pallets and skids, not standing timber. They build new pallets, "produce round corners on all of our wooden pallets," heat treat pallets using their SII Dry Kiln, and do repair stock. They run their own trucking rather than relying on outside haulers. They are set up in Sullivan but ship well beyond it, naming Chicago, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Louisville, and Fort Wayne as delivery points, with everything in between across the Midwest covered too. This fits a landowner or business that needs wooden pallets or skids built, heat treated, or repaired, not someone looking to sell standing timber or hire a logging crew.
