About Wadsworth Woodlands, Inc
Wadsworth Woodlands, Inc is a logging and forestry consulting business in Cornish, Maine. They handle timber harvesting along with consulting work like management plans, boundary line location, and timber cruising. Their harvest work starts with a free consultation, then they work out timing and logistics, things like whether the ground needs to be frozen or dry, where to put the log landing, and which subcontractor crew fits your woodlot best. They mark boundaries and timber before cutting, use fully insured contractors, and hand you accurate mill receipts so you can see what your wood sold for. On the consulting side they write Maine Tree Growth Plans and New Hampshire Stewardship Plans, do GPS/GIS mapping, and can help if you ever face a timber trespass. Their listed species is White Pine logs. They serve Maine and New Hampshire, and this listing shows them working York County. Their foresters are licensed in Maine and New Hampshire, and they note being a "Qualified Tree Farm Inspector" and a Board Member of the Maine Forest Product Council. The business has been running for over 22 years, a family operation out of Cornish. They say ten or more acres is enough to work with: "If you own ten or more acres in Maine or New Hampshire and are looking for timber harvesting or consulting services such as valuation or preparing a management plan-we can help." This fits a landowner who wants both the cutting handled and the paperwork side, taxes, plans, mapping, done by the same outfit. From wadsworthwoodlands.com, read 5 October 2026.
