About Mdjz Custom Cutting
MDJZ Custom Cutting (listed as Mdjz Custom Cutting) runs a custom sawmilling operation out of Howell, Michigan, seven miles east of town just off M59. They take your logs and mill them into lumber, right where the trees came down. The work is on-site. They bring the sawmill to your property so you don't have to haul logs anywhere, cutting them into finished lumber in your own driveway. They say they "bring the mill to you, saving you the time and expense of hauling," and that they "specialize in guiding customers through the entire process, from the first cut to the final cure." They have been sawing lumber with a Woodmizer Portable Sawmill since 1995. They serve Livingston County. This suits a landowner who already has logs on the ground, whether from storm damage, clearing, or an old tree that came down, and wants them turned into usable boards without trucking them off the property.
