About Homestead Timbers
Homestead Timbers is a lumberyard and hardware store in Kaleva, Michigan. It's not set up to buy standing timber or send a crew out to log your acres. What it does is sell building materials: dimensional lumber, treated wood, specialty timber, along with hardware, fasteners, and paint supplies. If you're a landowner wondering who will walk your woods and make an offer on your trees, this isn't that kind of business. It's more the place you'd go once the logging is done and you're building or fixing something on the property, whether that's a shed, a deck, or a repair job. The store describes itself as serving "homeowners, DIYers, and contractors" and backs that with "expert staff" and a wide stock of top brands. It's located in Manistee County and serves the Kaleva area. There's no stated minimum acreage, and that makes sense since this isn't a timber-buying or harvesting outfit. No founding date or history is given either. This one suits a landowner who's already sold or cut their timber and now needs lumber, hardware, or paint for the next project, not someone looking for an offer on standing trees.
