Down 2 Earth Custom Logging
About Down 2 Earth Custom Logging
Down 2 Earth Custom Logging is a logging contractor based in Onsted, Michigan. They handle timber purchasing and harvesting, forest management, and land clearing, so if you want someone to buy your timber and someone to cut it, this is one phone call instead of two. They work in Lenawee County. Their own description of what they do is "timber purchasing & harvesting, forest management, and land clearing." They describe their approach as "sustainable forestry practices that minimize environmental impact," which is worth knowing if that matters to you when picking who walks your woods. There's no stated minimum acreage, so you'd want to call and ask whether your lot is worth their time. No species, credentials, or founding date are given either, so lean on the phone call for those details. This fits a Lenawee County landowner who wants one contact for both the timber sale and the cutting, and who cares about how the ground looks after the crew leaves.
