Into The Woods Sawmill
About Into The Woods Sawmill
Into The Woods Sawmill, out of Rives Junction, Michigan, runs a portable sawmill. Owner Bill Allen brings the mill to your property rather than asking you to haul logs anywhere. Alongside the milling he does blade sharpening, chainsaw chain sharpening, and light skid steer work. The business mills your logs into lumber for you. It does not buy or sell lumber itself, so this is a milling service, not a timber buyer. It's licensed and insured, and it's veteran owned and operated, serving Jackson, Michigan and the surrounding area since it was established in 2020. No acreage is set as a minimum here, since the work is about logs and milling rather than standing timber sales, so this fits a landowner with just a few logs to mill as easily as someone with a bigger pile. This suits a landowner who already has logs down, maybe from clearing or storm damage, and wants them turned into usable lumber on site, plus someone who wants blades or chains sharpened or a bit of skid steer work done at the same time.
