Maple Ridge Hardwoods Inc

About Maple Ridge Hardwoods Inc

Maple Ridge Hardwoods Inc is a sawmill in Sterling, Michigan, and they also buy timber and do their own logging. They're based in the heart of northern Michigan forests, milling hardwoods into custom-milled green lumber and hand-picked veneer logs. They come from generations of family sawmills, and say they're "bringing up the next generation of Michigan-based lumbermen" focused on sustainable logging practices. Their work covers the full chain: buying standing timber, logging it, and milling it themselves rather than shipping logs elsewhere. They list Arenac County as where they work. There's no stated minimum acreage, and no smallest job shown on their pages to go by either. If you're weighing that question, you'd want to call and ask directly. This one suits a landowner who wants to deal with a single outfit that buys the timber, logs it, and mills it under one roof, and who likes knowing the people doing it come from a sawmilling family rather than a crew assembled for one job.
