About Hayes Logging, LLC
Hayes Logging, LLC is a logging and land clearing outfit based in Hadley, NY. They've been at this for a while, over 40 years as a family business now in its fourth generation, working the trees around Hadley, Glens Falls, Hudson Falls, Fort Edward, Corinith, Allentown and Lake Luzerne. Their main work is logging and timber harvesting, along with land clearing and firewood delivery. They describe the logging side as being able to "clear cut or outright remove trees from your property to promote healthy growth and harvest timber for your personal use." They say they'll take on "any plot, any size." A job typically starts with a free consultation on your property, and they say they work with landowners "every step of the way" while trying to stay ecologically friendly as they go. Beyond cutting and clearing, they also deliver firewood, so if you end up with wood you don't want to split yourself, that's part of what they offer. No species or species mix is named, and there's no mention of licensing or insurance, so you'd want to ask about that directly if it matters to you. This one fits a landowner near Hadley or the surrounding towns who wants a local, long-running family crew to handle logging, clear some ground, or just get a load of firewood delivered, without needing a big formal bid process to get started.
