Berdoll Sawmill

About Berdoll Sawmill

Berdoll Sawmill is a family owned and operated sawmill at Cedar Creek, east of Austin in Bastrop County, Texas, established in 2009 by Brandon and Brandi Berdoll, who say the business is built on Christian values. The firm saws native Texas hardwood logs that it states are sustainably sourced within a 100-mile radius of the mill, and sells kiln dried live edge slabs, furniture grade lumber and mantels in species such as pecan, mesquite, black walnut and longleaf pine, together with end grain disks, flooring, ceiling and wall material, whole log lumber packs and custom projects. It says it has complete on-site control over every step of production, drying all wood in onsite computer-controlled kilns, then surfacing slabs flat before planing them to a consistent thickness ready for hand sanding at 120 grit, and it guarantees its products to be dry, flat and free of wood-boring insects. A fully equipped woodshop also takes in outside work, offering jointing, planing, wide belt sanding, straight line ripping, resawing, large dimensional crosscuts, flattening of lumber and slabs, and custom flooring, wall and ceiling material and mouldings, on machinery listed as an 18-inch Tannewitz table saw, 30-inch Porter jointer, 36-inch Whitney planer, 32-inch Northfield bandsaw and 36-inch wide belt sander. Inventory is displayed in a 4,500 square foot humidity-controlled showroom, open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the company ships nationwide and says it will work with orders from one board to 10,000 board feet. Enquiries go by telephone or through a form on the site, which a team member answers. As described on berdollsawmill.com, read 23 September 2026.
