American International Lumber
About American International Lumber
American International Lumber is a Mexican corporation with warehouses in Acapulco, Mexico City and El Paso, Texas. It calls itself an "ecology-directed company" and says it gives reforestation support and plague control services in Guerrero, Oaxaca and Michoacan. Its work is in the forests of those three states. The business says villagers remove dead or dying trees and bring them to its sawmills, where the logs are turned into lumber. It names Ponderosa, Sugar Pine and Oak among the species it handles, and says a large share of its lumber is a clear select grade. Its buyers take lumber by the semi-load, about 18,000 board feet per order, mostly for moldings, doorframes, cabinets and furniture. Stock is sold and shipped within one or two days of reaching the warehouse. It suits a landowner in Guerrero, Oaxaca or Michoacan, or a seller who can supply logs by the semi-load.
