Brazos Forest Products

About Brazos Forest Products

Brazos Forest Products presents itself as a distributor rather than a sawmill, calling itself “the premier distributor of quality hardwood, plywood, and custom moulding in Texas and Louisiana.” The site lists four branches — Austin, Grand Prairie, Houston and Denham Springs, Louisiana — and gives the Houston location as 6911 Fairbanks N. Houston Rd., Suite 110, Houston, TX 77040, with a toll-free line of (888) 343-0667 and a fax of (713) 329-5871. The about page states that the company “offers in house milling at all locations to meet your specifications,” with Newman planers that “provide a ready to sand finish” and straight line ripping. Where the site is more specific it places certain capabilities elsewhere: “Net Rip services are offered at Austin and Grand Prairie along with custom moulding manufacturing,” and “Both locations can service Houston and Denham Springs, LA for custom moulding.” The laser-scanned, moveable-blade saw used for parallel-edged random width lumber is attributed to Grand Prairie, not to Houston. Product pages cover domestic and imported hardwood lumber, sheet goods and plywood, mouldings and custom profiles, live edge slabs and mantels, flooring, hardware, and Festool and Kreg tooling. On ordering, the site says each location supports call-in pickup, counter orders, or scheduled delivery “on one of our curtain side trucks.” It notes that many team members have “30 plus years experience in the hardwood industry,” but the pages read here give no founding year, no named staff or credentials for the Houston branch, no certifications, and no minimum order or tract size; quotes are obtained by contacting a local Brazos sales representative rather than from any published price list. As described on brazosfp.com, read 23 September 2026.
