About Building Products Plus

Building Products Plus describes itself as a supplier and manufacturer of treated wood and “extended-life building materials,” its home page titled “Treated Lumber, Timbers, Poles, Pilings in Houston and Galveston Region.” It says it supplies “extended-life structural building materials worldwide” and calls itself “the Gulf Coast leader in marine and shoreline treated wood and extended life building materials.” Product pages cover poles, pilings and posts, treated timbers and lumber, vinyl sheet piling, polymer-coated wood, engineered lumber (LVL, PSL, LSL and truss joists), decking, and hardware. On treatment it states that “Southern Yellow Pine Timbers can be pressure treated for use in ground or fresh water (.60 pcf or .80 pcf) and saltwater (2.5 pcf)” and that “CCA and ACQ treatments are available.” It stocks “Southern Yellow Pine #2 and better” and also supplies “fir, cedar, redwood, and other hardwood timbers.” The manufacturing side is custom: the firm says it will build timber trusses of “Any size, any length, any design,” has “built impressive trusses covering spans as long as 70 feet,” produces corbels up to 17 inches wide, and will pre-cut, drill and mill parts to ease a customer’s on-site workload. It sets out a turn-key sequence of design, engineering, production/fabrication, delivery and installation, and cites rebuilding the fire-damaged Pier 29 Boat Shed in San Francisco, where “15 massive timber trusses were needed,” as an example. Its Lock-Deck decking line is said to be “Manufactured per ANSI/AITC 190.1 and certified by an independent inspection agency” — a product standard rather than a company credential — and the numerous “Minimum” figures on that page are panel length-mix percentages, not order or site minimums. The pages read here name no founding year, no company certifications and no staff credentials, and publish no prices; work is quoted by calling the firm’s “Experienced Project Consultants” or submitting a project form. As described on buildingproductsplus.com, read 23 September 2026.
