M & M Lumber Company of Texas

About M & M Lumber Company of Texas

The directory records M & M Lumber Company of Texas as a Houston sawmill on Riley Road with the website mandmlumber.com. That address now serves Structural Wood Components, and the pages read are that company’s corporate site: they say nothing specific about an M&M Lumber sawmill, its yard, its equipment or its staff. M&M appears only as a navigation item, “M&M Lumber Quote Request”, and a footer button, “Request a M&M Quote”, set beside separate truss and shipping-cradle quote links, which indicates the two trade together; the pages do not explain the relationship. What the site does describe is Structural Wood Components, “a leading supplier of handcrafted Heavy Timber Trusses and related components” that has operated “for over 20 years”. It states that the firm is “located in the Houston metropolitan area approximately 40 miles northwest of downtown in Waller, Texas” and “utilizes a 6-acre site with approximately 13,000 square feet of shop space under roof”, an “impressive, City of Houston Certified, manufacturing facility that includes our on-site sawmill and re-sawing equipment”, a steel fabrication shop and truss assembly areas. Trusses are built from “Southern Yellow Pine, Douglas Fir, Western Red Cedar or Bald Cypress”, with spans that “have ranged from as short as five feet for personal residences to 80 feet for a large retail center”, and the company says it has shipped to “over 36 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.” On quoting, it says a structural timber truss “requires engineering certification by the customer or SWC” and that the customer must supply building plans or roof detail. The footer gives the Waller street address together with a Houston post office box and a 713 telephone number. As described on structuralwoodcomponents.com, read 23 September 2026.
