About Patterson Wood Products

Patterson Wood Products, Inc. states that it "has been producing premium quality wood pellets and shavings in Nacogdoches, Texas since 1993", from a facility on N.W. Stallings Drive. Its products, the company says, are made from "100% Southern Pine wood fiber, kiln-dried for superior performance". The pellet line covers heating pellets, described as a clean-burning, energy-efficient fuel, and bedding pellets for "superior animal comfort and absorbency", which the site describes as highly absorbent small flake shavings compressed into pellets that expand when exposed to moisture, reducing odours and disposal costs and being easy to pick. Wood shavings are offered in Large Flake, Medium Flake, Mini Flake and Ultra Fine grades, described as versatile for dozens of industrial and commercial applications. The company supplies bulk orders "from palletized product to full tractor-trailer loads" direct from its facility and invites contact for volume pricing, with its enquiry form listing intended uses such as home heating, landscaping and garden, industrial or commercial and retail resale. It also buys raw material, inviting vendors with sawdust, shavings, chips, bark or roundwood and logs in pine, hardwood or mixed species to get in touch. Claims made for the pellets include being allergy-free and clean with no dust or dirt, having less moisture than cordwood, higher BTU content and low ash output, being an all-natural fuel with "cleanest burn of any solid fuel", and offering "consistent quality since 1993" and being made in the USA. The team named on the site is Art Patterson, president, Markus Hodges, general manager, and Heath Pruitt, plant manager. As described on pattersonwp.com, read 23 September 2026.
