About Harden Sawmill and Lumber

Harden Sawmill and Lumber is a family owned and operated sawmill in Sanger, Texas. Brothers Jeff and Jeremy Harden started the business in 2007 and work in the daily operations, from the sawmill through to finished pieces. They serve Denton County from 4203 FM 455 West, about a mile off Interstate 35. They sell slabs and hardwood lumber in species that include mesquite, pecan, red oak, white oak, black walnut, cherry and cypress. Slabs are not sold online. You call or book an appointment to view one, and you must buy the whole board. They do not ship, so the buyer arranges transport. They also make slab tables, mantels and bar tops, and say "our custom work" is a large part of what they do. If you bring logs, milling on the WM 1000 is $300 an hour with a one-hour minimum. Logs must be at least 12 inches across at the small end. Limbs, rot, and logs with metal or wire in them will not be cut. Planing and wide belt sanding are $150 an hour with a 30-minute minimum. Hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM to 12 PM. Call 940-435-0249. This suits a landowner with sound hardwood logs who wants them milled into slabs or lumber, or wants custom furniture made from the wood. From hardensawmill.com, read 18 October 2026.
