About Trautschold Millwork

Trautschold Millwork Company, Inc. of 1500 Franklin Ave in Waco, Texas presents itself on a very small four-page website under a single banner line that runs across every page: "Trautschold Millwork. A Tradition of Quality Since 1893." The site carries only about 1,300 characters of text in total, and almost all of what the company says about itself sits on one short history page. There it explains that Trautschold Millwork "created custom millwork, windows, doors, mouldings, church furniture, and included a glass shop until the 1960's," and that "presently the company still specializes in custom architectural millwork, casework including wood and plastic laminate, custom doors and mouldings. We also do curved and radiused woodwork, and solid surface countertops." On the mix of work it takes, the company is equally brief and direct: "The company primarily does commercial work, but also does very high end residential work." A staff page names three people, Mike Sheedy, Bobby Dreyer and Lynne Bowerman, and then makes the shop's one real boast, which is about its workforce rather than its machinery: "With over 300 years of experience there is a wealth of knowledge to draw from. We have an employee that has been here 60 years and this has been his only job since he was 17 years old. We have a dedicated workforce and are proud of them." The contact page gives the Waco address and the shop's phone and fax, (254) 752-6547 and (254) 752-0221. Beyond that, the site is a set of navigation links only: Contact Us, Gallery, Staff, Job List, History and Home, with no text behind the gallery or job list that the crawl reached. The site states no certifications, no order minimum, no list of species or suppliers, no service-area radius and no named clients or projects. What it does state plainly is a founding date of 1893, a continuing specialty in custom architectural millwork and casework for mainly commercial customers, and unusual longevity among its employees. As described on trautscholdmillwork.com, read 23 September 2026.
