Havillah Shake Co is a recycled lumber mill in Tonasket, Washington, in Okanogan County. It's been "at your service for over 30 years," working out of 5A Clarkston Mill Rd, just south of town along Clarkston Mill Road. This isn't a timber-buying or logging outfit. The mill takes reclaimed building materials and architectural salvage, often from its own demo work, and turns it into custom-milled wood for building and decor. They do their own hand-pulling of nails from salvaged boards, then hand-mill every board, piece of trim, and beam. They work in fir, Ponderosa Pine, cherry, and hardwoods, and say they "can match trim from any historical era and we can cut almost any shape, size, or quantity." Beyond lumber, they've added an in-house workshop making pre-made paneling, chicken and dog housing, garden structures, home accent pieces, and art, all from recycled material. Their service area is centered on Okanogan County, in north-central Washington. Work includes custom milling, land clearing and site work tied to demo projects, and retail of reclaimed wood and handmade wood products. This fits a landowner who has an old building, barn, or other structure coming down and wants the wood saved and reused rather than hauled off, not someone looking to sell standing timber or hire a logger.
