About Parnell, Inc.
Parnell, Inc. is a logging and timber buying business in Maplesville, Alabama, and has been logging, trucking and farming since 1960. Its shop is at 13711 Alabama 191. The county they serve is Chilton, and they work with pine and hardwood. They market wood to mills within about 60 miles of Maplesville, in what their site calls Central Alabama. Logging is their main trade, and they buy timber too. Their procurement forester, Bobby Tillery Jr., evaluates tracts. The work runs from timber evaluation and final cutting to forest thinning, site prep and roadbuilding, cutting and replanting, and general land management. Their register entry also lists tree planting by hand or machine, herbicide application, and whole tree chipping. Every crew has one or more certified Professional Logging Managers. Their site calls them a "Do It All" partner from harvest to sale. Their wood goes straight to mills, which they say means "cutting out the middle man." To start, call (334) 366-0143 or use the contact form, and Bobby will get back to you as soon as possible. The company is family owned and operated, and it has won logging honors in 2006, 2007 and 2008. This suits a landowner who wants one company to handle the evaluation, the cut, the access roads and the replanting, and who is comfortable selling into the mill market around Maplesville.
