Rex Lumber
About Rex Lumber
Rex Lumber is a sawmill in Troy, Alabama, at 1946 County Road 7714. Its listed county is Pike. It cuts southern yellow pine into lumber from harvested timber. The business traces back to 1926, when W. D. McRae set up Rex Lumber Company in Graceville, Florida. The McRae family still owns it and runs four mills across Florida, Mississippi and Alabama. The Troy mill is the newest, chosen in 2017. The Troy site was picked for "great access to timber," and the family also owns over 16,000 acres of its own timberland in Florida, Alabama and Georgia. The cutting process is set up so there is almost no waste. The Troy office number is 334.770.0950. This listing suits a landowner who wants to know about a southern yellow pine sawmill in Pike County. From rex-lumber.com, read 17 October 2026.
