About Devereaux Saw Mill Inc.

Devereaux Saw Mill Inc., also known as Devereaux Sawmill, Inc., is a sawmill in Pewamo, Michigan that also buys standing timber straight from landowners. It's listed as a mill and a timber buyer, so it works on both ends: buying logs off your property and running them through its own mill. The mill buys White Hard Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, Hickory, Soft Maple, Walnut, and Cherry. Logs come from within "sourced within a 150-mile radius of our mill," and the company serves Ionia County among the areas it draws from. It processes "17 million feet processed annually," so this is a mill built around steady, large-scale volume rather than occasional jobs. The company describes its history as "based on integrity, honesty, and hard work," and says it buys timber "prioritizing customer and landowner satisfaction." If you're a landowner in the area with mature hardwoods, Devereaux is set up to both evaluate your timber and turn it into lumber under one roof, rather than acting only as a broker. This fits a landowner with a stand of the species above, within driving distance of Pewamo, who wants a mill with a long-running, high-volume operation behind the offer rather than a smaller or newer buyer.
