They run their own mill, so they buy standing timber and also saw grade lumber, pallet lumber, and do custom sawing, plus sell bark, mulch, and sawdust. They work in hardwood species including Walnut, Hard Maple, Soft Maple, Red Oak, White Oak, Cherry, Ash, Hickory, and Poplar, along with various softwood species, and they buy and resell veneer quality logs. A sale starts with a free consultation and a site visit to evaluate what your timber is worth, and from there they give you a price for what they believe should be harvested at that time, backed by a written detailed timber sales contract. They sell grade and pallet lumber through the Midwest, and their listed service area for timber work includes Ionia County. They say their logging crew is "certified by the Michigan Sustainable Forestry Education Program (SFE)" and that they are fully insured and licensed.
