Trierweiler Kiln Dried Lumber
About Trierweiler Kiln Dried Lumber
Trierweiler Kiln Dried Lumber runs as The Dried Lumber Company out of Clarksville, Michigan, just off I-96 at exit 59. It's an owner-operated sawmill and kiln-drying shop, not a timber buyer, so if you want someone to purchase standing timber off your land this isn't that. What it does is take logs or lumber and turn them into something usable. You can bring your own logs for custom sawing on their two on-site sawmills, or bring lumber you've already cut and have it kiln dried. They run three kinds of kilns: a vacuum kiln, a radio frequency vacuum kiln, and a dehumidification kiln, and owner Travis Trierweiler operates each one himself. Beyond straight sawing and drying, they do slab surfacing, custom tops, and mantels. They say "we dry all lumber, on-site, in our kilns," and that the business has been going "over 11 years." They're based near Clarksville but list Ionia County among the areas they serve, and their own pages say they work across Michigan and into other states as well. This fits a landowner who already has logs or air-dried lumber sitting around and wants it sawn or kiln dried into something finished, rather than someone just starting out trying to sell standing timber.
